Every path leads into the same FrootAI ecosystem. The difference is where you want the tools to appear.
Before you start
- VS Code with Marketplace access
- A workspace folder when you are ready to build
- No MCP server or repository clone required for catalog browsing
Install or connect
code --install-extension frootai.frootai-vscodeYou can also open Extensions in VS Code, search for “FrootAI,” and install the verified Marketplace extension.
Verify the setup
- 01Open the Command Palette
- 02Run “FrootAI: Open Workspace Home”
- 03Confirm the Workspace Home loads its catalog and readiness view
You are ready when
- The FrootAI icon appears in the Activity Bar
- Workspace Home opens without an activation error
- Solution Plays and Primitives are available even before hosted services are configured
